Complete Care Cosmetics LLC was founded to promote natural beauty, holistic health, and confidence—without compromise. As a nurse and health advocate, I couldn’t ignore the growing body of research linking common hair care products to serious health risks.

A 2015 report from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) raised serious concerns about hormone-disrupting chemicals commonly found in hair products. The report identified potential links between these chemicals and several health issues, including breast cancer, premature sexual development in children, prepubertal gynecomastia (in both boys and men), uterine fibroids, and endometriosis.

Building on that concern, a 2022 study from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) revealed that women who frequently used chemical hair straighteners were more than twice as likely to develop uterine cancer compared to non-users.

These findings inspired me to create a safer, evidence-based alternative: our Herbal Hair Growth Oil with DHT-Blocking Properties. What is DHT, and why does it matter?

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is a hormone derived from testosterone. While it plays a natural role in the body, too much DHT can shrink hair follicles, shorten the growth cycle, and ultimately lead to thinning or permanent hair loss—especially in those genetically sensitive to it. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) plays a significant role in hair loss for both men and women. It causes hair follicles to shrink and weaken, leading to thinner hair and eventual hair loss.
